Ed DuBois: Man on a Mission to Avenge

You want to know about Alex Thornton al-Omri? Hah, if I told you, I’d have to kill you. That’s because she and I go way back. Like back four years to when she whacked me over the head with a frying pan. Fractured my skull and gave me a nasty concussion, if you want to know the truth.

That got me handcuffed by my pals at the Company (you figure out what I mean) and a lifetime membership in the federal pen down in Louisiana. How fitting. This boy who grew up in the bayou would die in the bayou. I think my former comrades wanted to throw away the key and forget I ever existed.

Let’s just say that didn’t happen. I’m out now, and I’m a man on a mission. Yeah, that’s right. I’ve got a bone to pick with Alex and her man, Jabir al-Omri. That’s because in the end, he’s the one who betrayed me. Can’t stand the kid. He’s been a thorn in my side for four years now, and I hold him directly responsible for my incarceration.

But now I’ve got the chance to get even, a chance to get revenge on those who put me in the pen in the first place. And I’ve teamed up with some of the best to get it done. And no, I’m not going to tell you because apparently, it’s all laid out in Uncommon Vengeance. Let’s just put it this way. Don’t get on my naughty list. You might not live to tell about it.

Now that I’m out of the pen, some people had better watch over their shoulders. #UncommonVengeance #Unit28Series #AmReading #Suspense Click To Tweet
